About Me

Ruby
As a child my Mother was always bringing home some sort of art project for my sisters and myself to help her with. We were always gluing, sewing, painting, using decoupage, or putting glitter on something for her to give as a gift. I spent many years sewing and then I discovered beading and making jewelry, but the real turn for me was the discovery of repurposing vintage jewels and other elements. Now it’s all about great finds at a flea market or if a friend is getting rid of something. So often I hear myself saying “Don’t throw that away, I could make something out of it”. I love using vintage, modern and unique findings to create imaginative pieces of wearable art.
